Shimon grew up in Manchester and attended Yeshivat Har Etzion. He subsequently pursued a degree in Business and began his career in commercial property.

After relocating to London, Shimon served as the Managing Director of GIFT, followed by a decade as Chief Operating Officer at Finchley United Synagogue (Kinloss).

In August 2024, he returned to the Jewish Futures family.

In his role as COO, Shimon oversees the entire back-office operations of Jewish Futures and its member organisations, ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of objectives while addressing the operational needs of all Jewish Futures organisations. His extensive experience and commitment to the community enable him to drive positive outcomes and foster collaboration across the organisation.
